Arriving into London

Most people arrive into Heathrow Airport. The best way from Heathrow Airport to central London is by train.

Heathrow Express is the fastest and most frequent but most expensive. Leaves every 15 minutes and journey time is 15 minutes.

TfL Rail (formerly Heathrow Connect) is more economical, typically half the price of the full Heathrow Express fare but twice as long, and leaves every half an hour.

Piccadilly Line underground train is the least expensive, around £5 but slowest, around an hour, and can be difficult to navigate with luggage.
