Cornell, Brown and Penn students directly enrol in UK universities. The Cornell-Brown-Penn centre provides a place to meet with the director, where students can discuss academic issues, cultural adjustment, or receive advice on British life. The Centre also provides a contact point back to students’ home universities and runs a series of events to help students get to know the UK, and each other, a little better.
The centre is based near Bloomsbury, the heart of London’s educational district. Once green and rural, the area is now home to the University of London (including University College London, the School of Oriental and African Studies, and the School of Advanced Study) and The British Museum.
