Now an important lesson in British culture--you really need to know about biscuits. In the UK, 'biscuit' usually refers to what you'd call a cookie--cookies are, as far as we're concerned, a sub-section of biscuits. A nice cup of tea, a biscuit and a sit down is pretty much considered a human right here in Britain.
